My Sister, Sophia's Bridal Shower
My sister, Sophia is getting married on May 20, 2017 so we recently threw her a bridal shower! She's been working through her rustic themed wedding and she loves the outdoors so we knew she wanted something within nature but still romantic and pretty. My sister, Jennie has a huge backyard at her home so we hosted the shower there. Here's a look into her shower...Decor Details
We had my wonderful dear friend, Marissa @goodmorningcactus (Etsy shop) help with all the succulents arrangements- from the smallest little bird ceramics filled with baby succulents to the table centerpieces. They turned out wonderful and made all the difference with the flowers for the shower. It was made with such love and care. All of these came from her own garden :) Thank you Marissa!Entrance sign & lanterns filled with succulents and flowers lining up the driveway.

Giveaway table, wildflower seeds! I bought blank seed packets and designed and printed the packets; Aiden and Ava helped me fill them up with wildflower seeds- they had so much fun. I hope all the guests are able to watch them grow and bloom to something beautiful.

Flowers and mason jars filled with flowers hung from tree branches.

We wanted each of the guests to be able to write a special note to Sophia before her wedding.

The table centerpieces consisted of a simple flower arrangement and Marissa's succulents, and a picture of Sophia that each guests had to guess her age. (first, you had to guess which rice bowl haircut kid was her- many were guessing the ages of my brothers thinking they were Sophia)

Drinks, Food and Desserts
Mimosa bar! You can't have brunch without it!

Fried chicken and DIY waffle bar

There's always room for dessert! Cakes, jello, cookies, oh my!
Marissa also created the beautiful runner full of succulents, eucalyptus and I added some additional flowers that she had given.

I had my awesome and talented friend, Charmaine bake macarons and personalized sugar cookies. She did an amazing job and everyone was raving about her macarons and the delicious, beautifully decorated cookies. Thank you Charmaine!

Various quiches, salads and antipasto

Meet the beautiful bride and my sister, Sophia. Isn't she gorgeous, glowing inside and out. We are so happy for you sister!

It was a beautiful day to be outside.

Keep the mimosas coming...

Here's a picture of the bridal shower game Nazi, Mary (aka- Maid of Honor)! LOL, just kidding, sort of. ;)

Her hilarious delivery and antics had the bride and my mom laughing. If you want to win a prize, you better do what she says!

Meet Laura, one of my sister's closest friends. She made sure that no glass was empty and all champagne bottles were consumed. This just meant, everyone was ensured to have as good of a time as she was having. She also is pretty badass in making waffles :) Thanks Laura for all your help!

I didn't realize the bride wanted a naked cake when I ordered one. I just thought it fit the theme nicely so I called up the baker that made Aiden's birthday cake, @Elemakescakes. She made this beautiful white cake filled with raspberry lemon mousse, it was so delicious! It turns out that Sophia really wanted a naked/semi naked cake, SCORE!! *does happy dance*

Good Times
After the food and games, it was time to open gifts.

Ooh la la! I think Anthony was getting a bit uncomfortable taking pictures at this point.

A gift to wear the day of the wedding.

With the help of Sophia's fiance, Ryan, we were able to put up this photo backdrop.
