Aiden's First Birthday

our little man is growing so fast, its hard to believe he is already 1! he has been such a blessing to nanci and i, we are looking forward to watching him grow even more in the years to come. yesterday was his "under the sea" birthday party, i could barely keep track of where he was but from what i heard, he had a blast! the whole day was a big blur, my mind was in a million places so i didnt get very many pictures, hopefully others did and can share them with us!

we had the party at nancis sister jennies house. you may remember it from her kids birthday party. a lot of people thought that party was at a park, but it is actually their HUGE backyard... its the biggest backyard ive ever seen!

nanci and i designed the dessert table together, which i got the most pictures of because guests hadnt arrived yet. once people showed up i was all over the place



had the cake made by a chinese bakery, just had to provide them with some themed bath toys to put on it



nancis sister sophia bakes a ton of cupcakes, nanci made the themed cupcake toppers (although jennie, me, and our moms helped with the manual labor)





my cousin janice made these awesome cake pops... but they started melting from being outside! sorry cousin! =( everyone loved them though! check out get caked la if you need any!
