nanci and i are always looking for ways to maintain a balance between family life... and keeping our sanity! we definitely dont do enough date nights, arranging a babysitter isnt always easy. separate vacations, without kids, was just a crazy idea i had, and nanci was crazy enough to go along with it! and off i went to europe with my cousin to meet our friends in france to go snowboarding! this trip was something ive dreamed about, nice to cross it off the bucket list but thats not to say im not going back! definitely want to return with the whole family when the kids are old enough to snowboard!
the night before i left was really rough, i was really sad to leave my babies! i woke up at 4am almost every morning (8pm ca time) to video chat with the kids before the went to bed. we had a blast, and it was definitely nice not changing diapers or dealing with tantrums for almost 2 weeks! nanci still needs to plan her trip for later this year. people think we are crazy, maybe we are... oh well!
