we only had a mile to walk from the main station to our hotel, little did we know that we would be lugging our 150lbs of luggage uphill most of the way! but we finally made it and settled in

headed into town, but stopped juice on way... "lean on this wall and look cool"

zurich is a charming little town, not a ton of stuff to do but that made it just perfect for winding down the trip before heading back to the states. we didnt realize that sundays old town zurich is practically shut down, so we just wandered around for a bit.

loved the pastel colored buildings

they sell beer in random street carts, my kinda town

first look down the limmat river that runs through old town

we were starving by now, and we didnt realize how much we missed asian food! not sure if it was because wed gone so long without it, but this thai place was damn GOOD!

we were gonna rest for a bit then hit some bars... but ended up sleeping 12 hours! all that short nights in france really caught up to us. day two was sightseeing day. we spent the day taking photos and videos of anything and everything. headed out nice and early, but not before a hotel elevator mirror selfie

the three most distinguishable buildings in the zurich skyline are grossmunster church

fraumunster church

and st peter church, which has the largest clock face in europe

standing on the bridge where the limmat meets lake zurich, you can see all three together

strolling around lake zurich

zurich hb, the main train station in the city

starting at the main train station and extending all the way south to lake zurich is the world famous bahnhofstrasse, one of the most expensive streets in the world

a quick adjustment here

a little straightening there

BOOM! picture perfect

very tempted, but he controlled his impulses to buy a watch the whole trip. good job cuz!

bring home a louis for nanci?

nah! already got her a t-shirt!

looks like a good place to hang out?

the women in my family would definitely agree with this window

first taste of swiss street food, yum!!!

possibly the best ice cream ive ever tasted!

adding our own J+A lock to remember our romantic stay together (it was already there ok!)

never heard of tom ford, but juice took about 50 photos of this $15000 suit

time for solo shots

kinda taught juice to use my camera. notice his composition, the way he uses a combination of lighting and shadow to bring life to the photo... you cant teach that. my cousin is a natural (good looking model helped too)

getting late... getting hungry... kabab and beer time!

the night was clear so i decided to take a few night shots

our last day in zurich we spent shopping for souvenirs to bring home, and rented bikes to cruise around. but first tings first, more traditional swiss food. not sure what this thing was called but it was TASTY!

the teuscher shop is amazing! got plenty to take home to the family... it wasnt til i got home that nanci told me there is a teuscher shop in beverly hills... DOH!

stumbled across a park with an awesome view

and an interesting toilet.

after you handle your business, you wash and dry your hands using the same basin

happen to be in iv drug user? theres even a place to put your used syringe???

more chocolate... laderach! chocolate truffle heaven...

oh boy....

been riding bikes with my cousin since 1985, whod have thought wed be doing the same thing in europe almost 30 years later. no photos from riding, but it was SO fun and we got a lot of great video footage

ended our bike ride with a couple beers

some awesome food

and on the way home, we were still hungry so got even more food! this chicken doner kebab was no joke... fries, chicken, red and white sauce, followed by more fries, more chicken, and more red and white sauce. a good way to end our stay in zurich

and so ends our 12 day trip! juice and i definitely had an awesome time, but i was ready to get home to my babies! auf wiedersehen zurich! thanks for reading ill be sorting through video footage soon!
