Delarosa Maternity/Family Shoot

so ive had a LITTLE practice shooting maternity photos when nanci was pregnant with aiden and ava, but this was my first time doing it for someone other than my wife, and my first time shooting an entire family! such mixed emotions... flattered they asked me, excited to practice, and terrified of wasting their time if things didnt work out well! i just made sure to be upfront that i am totally new at this, but i did feel a lot more relaxed this time around and i think that translated into some great photos!

i have been friends with ernesto since we met at my first job out of college, just about 13 years ago (damn!). weve been through a lot together, and i am so excited for the upcoming addition to their family! it was definitely an honor to capture this special time in their lives.

ernesto and i have been through a lot together, definitely had some good times partying when we were younger but it has been awesome seeing how he has transformed into a great husband and father over the years. he is someone i know i can always count on when i need him, and consider him one of my closest friends. so i just want to take this opportunity to say thank you for years of loyal friendship, it means more to me that you probably know. we love you guys very much and cant wait to meet the new baby!
