Brian's Bachelor Brewery Tour

had an awesome weekend with the boys in san diego for brians last hurrah as a single man! brian and i played in a band together for many years, definitely some of the best times of my life playing music, writing songs, touring, even making music videos!.

our shuttle bus picked us up bright and early sat morning. the plan was to visit three of san diegos best breweries... ballast point, ale smith, and green flash.

now i know how much brian loves his future wife tammy, and how sad he would be to have to go away for the weekend without his lady... so to make him feel better i thought i would bring along judy the love doll to keep him company. how hot is she?!?!

first stop was ballast point. this brewery we actually got to do a full tour of the brewing facility which was awesome... and informative!

our tour guide was really good, and i learned a lot about the history of beer making as well as the brewing process. in the tall can are grains used to make beer. the color of the grains is what determines how light or dark the beer is. and in the smaller can are hops, which you can really taste if you like indian pale ales, one of my favorites.

brewing beer is much like brewing coffee. hot water is poured through the grains, and the flavor of the grains are infused into the water, and the water is then fermented with yeast.

beer is the 3rd most consumed beverage on the planet, after water and tea. brian was definitely trying to bump beer up to #2 this weekend.

another interesting fact is that hops are most closely related to marajuana... which is why when you drink beer you get tired and hungry.

this bottle making machine is the most expensive piece of equipment in the brewery. it fills, seals, and labels the bottles.

and of course, after the touring we moved on to the tasting! i tried just about every beer they had listed on their chalkboard, definitely a fan

after ballast point, we moved on to ale smith. this is another very highly regarded brewery in san diego, we didnt get a tour of this one but we got to taste the a lot of their beers and they were excellent

next we moved on to green flash brewery. now at this point, you can imagine we were all getting a little tipsy. judy definitely took advantage of the situation and started doing what she does best. definitely NSFW, if you are under the age of 18 please close this browser NOW!!!

everyone was loving judys moves, but of course she had to pay extra special attention to our celebrant. just look at him motorboat those vinyl boobies, i hope tammy doesnt see this! =X

judy decided to get even friskier, and started to flash her goods out of the window to the passing traffic. a lot of lucky passer-bys got a nice free show

our terrible group shot with judy, sorry the tour guide took it

and finally, our last stop was green flash brewery. i have to admit... by this point all the beers were tasting the same to me, but green flash had some really unique ones. this is supposed to be one of the best breweries, im definitely coming back for a re-taste
