The Strings at Slidebar

finally got a chance to see my friends band "the strings" live at the slidebar in downtown fullerton. they played a great show, and covered a lot of my all time favorite songs! tried to take a lot of pictures for them, but they didnt come out really great sorry guys! my normal lens was being borrowed so i was using a lens that im not that comfortable with yet! the whole album is HERE

this is my friend chris on lead vocals, great job dude!

danny on backup vocals, just met him and his wife that day

met jeff a few times, he came to my bands last show. great bass playing, and even busted out a cello for a few songs, sick!

didnt get a chance to meet the guitarist, played some awesome lead guitar and was also great at harmonizing on the backup vocals

didnt get to meet the drummer either but he also played solid

i met omar a few times too, he has an awesome loft in downtown that i got to check out at artwalk a few months ago. he filled in on bass for a few songs, and the rest of the time was recording video on his iphone

nanci and aiden came to support as well

i dont think aiden was very impressed though, sorry guys!

the guys played a great show, especially considering this was only their second gig together! looking forward to the next one... maybe ill even sit in on guitar for a pearl jam song?!?!?! jk! (kinda)
