Santa Barbara

nancis maternity leave went by so quick, we decided last minute to take a quick little family road trip up to santa barbara on her last weekend before work. you think its hard going out to dinner with a baby try a weekend trip, you gotta pack your whole house!

walked the entire length of state street. a couple pics of us with aiden at a cafe on state st



walked along the beach and the pier




checked out the historic courthouse. pretty cool, and is still a functioning courthouse. i found that out when i got nosy and opened a door to peek in and a room full of people turned around to look at me... whoops!

this is another view inland towards state street, but i played around with this technique to make pictures look like a miniature model, it kinda worked?


we also visited the santa barbara mission. we had just visited the san juan capistrano mission recently and man the santa barbara one is TINY in comparison


other than a lot of shopping and spending way more money than we had planned, thats about it. nothing super exciting but a fun little trip, looking forward to more!
