October Cabo Trip

after working almost every weekend in sept and october djing, running sound, performing in the band, you name it... this cabo trip was much needed! although we didnt relax that much. but it was fun, weather was perfect, and we didnt bring home any swine flu! didnt take a whole lot of pictures... it wasnt as scenic as i thought it would be?

a few shots of our hotel. it was really nice, but a little further from town than we would have liked.

our favorite restaurant was this place called the office. its right on the sand, margaritas were awesome, and the best fish tacos weve ever had! there was this freaky looking clown dude walking around, and also this fat guy with a big mexican hat called the office rambo that makes people take shots. he also happened to have a photo album of hundreds of girls who take pictures with him showing their boobies. his job is better than mine =(.

the place next door called mango deck also had a fat big hat tequila guy, and he also had a "book o' boobies".

cabo is at the very tip of baja california. there are a bunch of rock formations there out there that they call "lands end", and also the famous arc. if youre as old as i am, you may have seen the arc in the old planet of the apes shows... they were filmed here. we took a water taxi out to go check it out.

the water taxi dropped us off at one of the beaches between the rocks. this particular beach was a popular one called lovers beach, which is on the sea of cortez and is very calm and swimable. if you walk to the other side which is on the pacific ocean, the water is supposed to be really rough and dangerous. i read that a lot of tourists have drowned there. this side is called divorce beach haha... silly mexicans.

the marina is obviously where all the boats dock, but its also where a bunch of restaurants, shops, and the big mall is. i discovered some awesome tequila there called plata, so smooth!

we also did a zipline tour, it was so much fun but all the hiking really kicked our asses. i think nanci and i are the only people that can still manage to spot the cameras and take cheesy pictures while zipping through desert canyons at 50mph.

vendors all over the beaches trying to sell stuff to the tourists
