Happy 30th Bday Alice!

alice joined me in the 30s club the day after christmas. started off with dinner at a yakatori place on the west side. the food was... interesting. let me start off by saying the term giblets is very misleading... they sound little and cute, when really they are just chicken guts. well i wasnt in the experimental mood but what i did eat was really good. the entire album is HERE

but my favorite part of dinner was the red velvet cake, which im pretty sure was baked in heaven. happy birthday al!


after dinner we went to busbys in santa monica for drinks, games, and dancing. it was good times with lots of old high school friends...

after we closed the bar out at 2am, we ended up at my favorite place... the karaoke bar! they sang, i napped. i hate to be a kill joy, but i was tired, sick, and im just not into karaoke. the only other time ive been to a place like that was in ny... coincidentally... with alice!
