its been a long time coming, but my cousin sven finally found an awesome girl and they tie the knot in less than a month! this past weekend the boys headed up to jackson flats campground near wrightwood for a nice relaxing weekend away from the hustle and bustle of the city

i have no idea how to camp. i literally came with a sleeping bag, a tent i bought that same day, and beer. luckily my cousin samo, svens brother, came prepared with all of the essentials. the majority of our weekend consisted of eating and drinking. i love camping!

bacon and eggs, bacon and sausage scramble, bacon wrapped hot dogs, bacon guacamole burgers, can never have too much bacon

samo, sven, and i grew up playing with radio controlled models... and never quite outgrew it. there was definitely no shortage of R/C's on this trip. we had tiny drones

medium drones. this drone has an onboard camera that transmits a video feed to some goggles, allowing the pilot to fly as if he is sitting in the cockpit. pretty awesome!

he setup this extra monitor so we could watch the video feed. here is him flying around our campsite
